The new 2021 Cadillac XT4 sees no significant changes, but it continues to give amazing value, with a feature-rich list, a spacious cabin, and a style that is the epitome of Cadillac. This luxury crossover comes in three trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. All trims come with an HD Rear Vision Camera, LED headlamps and taillamps, a 7-speaker audio system, and automatic emergency braking.
Wi-Fi connectivity, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay integration, alloy wheels, a power liftgate, and Rear Park Assist comes standard on the Luxury trim. Premium Luxury has standard features including driver-seat memory functions, a hands-free liftgate, leather seating, and driver-assist technology such as Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, rear-cross traffic alert, Front and Rear Park Assist, and blind-spot monitoring. The Sport trim gets red-painted brake calipers, gloss-black finish on roof rails, front grille and side window surround, sporty front seats, interior sports accent trim, and a unique, sporty steering wheel.
Optional equipment for all trims includes a Bose surround-sound audio system, heated front, and second-row seats, and Intellibeam headlamps, while the Premium Luxury and Sport can be outfitted with additional options including adaptive cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging pad, and heated and massaging front seats.
Cadillac makes one engine for all XT4 trims: a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that pushes out 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive comes standard, but you can opt for all-wheel drive. If you stay with the front-wheel drive, the XT4's fuel economy is an estimated 24 mpg in city driving and 30 mpg with highway driving. All-wheel drive changes fuel economy a little, getting an estimated 22 mpg in city driving and 29 mpg on the highway. This engine is paired with a nine-speed shiftable automatic transmission.
