What's New For the 2021 Cadillac XT5?

The 2021 Cadillac XT5 Luxury is the entry-level model. It has all of the technology drivers need, plus heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and more. When going with the midlevel Premium Luxury model, the XT5 adds a heated steering wheel, sunroof, wireless device charging, and even a hands-free power liftgate. For the XT5 Sport, Cadillac adds a performance suspension and other enhancements to help drivers enjoy their time behind the wheel.

2021 Cadillac XT5 Horsepower

A turbocharged 235-horsepower four-cylinder engine comes standard for the 2021 XT5. Coming standard on the Sport model is a 310-horsepower V6 engine instead. Both of these are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission for responsive shifting. Front-wheel drive is standard for the Premium and Premium Luxury models. All-wheel drive, which is standard for the Sport, is an option for the first two trims.

With five out of five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, it is easy to feel confident in the 2021 XT5. This SUV comes with a forward-collision warning, pedestrian braking, a safety alert seat, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and more. It also has the popular Teen Driver system to help keep teenagers safer when behind the wheel. Select models add blind-spot monitoring, along with adaptive cruise control and parallel and perpendicular park assist.
