What's New for the 2025 Cadillac XT5?
For the 2025 model year, Cadillac has removed the Platinum trim from the XT5 lineup. However, several premium features previously exclusive to the Platinum are still optional extras.
What Trims & Features Does the 2025 XT5 Offer?
The 2025 XT5 is available in three well-equipped trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. The popular XT5 Luxury comes standard with a range of excellent features. Cadillac's user-friendly CUE infotainment system includes an 8.0-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control enhance cabin comfort. Other notable features include a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system, and voice recognition.
The Premium Luxury trim adds more high-end appointments, such as a hands-free power liftgate, wireless phone charging, and a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system.
The XT5 Sport trim is the best pick for those who crave a sportier ride. It includes a sport-tuned suspension with adaptive dampers and a specialized Twin Clutch Sport Control AWD system for improved handling. Cadillac also equips the XT5 Sport with Brembo front brakes for superior braking performance.
What Is the Horsepower of the 2025 XT5?
The 2025 Cadillac XT5 has a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Higher trims offer a more powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine, which delivers 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. Cadillac's available AWD system features an Off-Road mode to enhance traction on rough terrain.
What Safety Features Are Offered on the 2025 XT5?
The new XT5 comes equipped with several advanced safety and driver-assistance features. The HD Rear Vision Camera ensures clear visibility when reversing. Front Pedestrian Braking increases safety while navigating city streets. Other standard features include a vibrating Safety Alert Seat, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist, and Park Assist. You can also add advanced options like Side Blind Zone Alert to enhance safety further.
