Specs at a Glance
In 2021, the Cadillac Escalade ESV receives some noteworthy updates and improvements. This year, one of the most significant changes for the ESV is that it's now even longer than the model from last year. The Cadillac adds about eight inches of space to its wheelbase, which translates to a smoother ride and more interior capacity across the cabin, particularly in the back row. The Cadillac Escalade ESV also increases the volume of technology that it has onboard across the trim lineup.
This year, the ESV is the first vehicle in the industry to offer curved OLED technology for its display panel, and it is the first to come equipped with AKG audio technology. Safety gets a boost for the Cadillac Escalade ESV in 2021, which now has Cadillac's Super Cruise driver-assist technology. You can get these great features and more with the base trim, Luxury, or upgrades to the Luxury Platinum trim for even more amenities.
Performance
You can order two engines for the Cadillac Escalade ESV Luxury or the Luxury Platinum. Both come standard with a gasoline V8 engine for base-level power. The gasoline engine has a power output of 420 HP. Its torque rating is 460 LB-FT, which is identical to the maximum torque that you'll get with the available diesel engine, which is an option for either trim level. The diesel produces 277 HP. An automatic 10-speed transmission is a highlight of both trim levels. Either engine gives the 2021 Cadillac ESV a top tow rating of 8,100 pounds when the SUV is fully equipped.
Appearance
Some stylistic differences are also in store for the 2021 Cadillac Escalade ESV. The Luxury trim has the same unique vertical lighting features that have given the ESV a distinct look in past years. However, its lights get some design changes this year for an even more dramatic appearance. The headlights have a horizontal design, and the rear lights have LED bulbs with more dimensions. The Luxury trim has 20-inch wheels, while the Luxury Platinum has 22-inch wheels and glossy black touches.
Features
The Escalade ESV Luxury has a fashionable interior with high-end materials and plush leather upholstery. It has a new OLED display technology and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You can choose from eight interior colors to give the cabin a personalized appearance. With the Luxury Platinum comes quilted leather upholstery, massaging front seats, and some additional safety aids.
