Performance

Delivering up to 420 horsepower, a 6.2 L engine propels the 2021 Escalade Luxury and Sport. This V8 gasoline powertrain generates up to 460 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 RPM. Both Cadillac SUVs may be equipped with a 3.0 L engine with the most recent Duramax technology. This turbocharged diesel powertrain is rated at 277 hp at 3,750 RPM and 460 lb-ft at 1,500 RPM. When equipped with a 2WD system, each Escalade trim tows a trailer that's loaded with up to 8,100 pounds. Supporting up/down shifting with simple taps, a 10-speed automatic transmission is standard on both Cadillac SUVs. Additionally, the Adaptive Ride Suspension and Autotrac transfer case is optional for the Sport edition. The Electronic Limited-Slip Differential boosts the vehicle's handling on wet pavement or rugged trails.

Appearance

The 2021 Escalade Luxury model is equipped with 22-inch wheels with 14 spokes and a Bright Silver finish. Decorated with the Dark Android finish, the Sport's 22-inch wheels have ten spokes. Both Cadillac SUVs have black assist steps with textured pads for maximum traction. These family-friendly vehicles also offer the optional roof rack cross rails with a black finish. Standard on both 2021 Escalade editions is the Hands-Free Power Liftgate, which comes with a memory function. Illuminated door handles, LED headlamps, and the IntelliBeam technology are some other premium exterior features on these three-row vehicles. Equipped with leather seating, the Sport model is decorated with the Brandy/Very Dark Atmosphere accents for contemporary appeal. This mid-level trim also offers real leather upholstery with the Jet Black design.
