Specs at a Glance

The Cadillac XT4 is a sleek, subcompact luxury crossover SUV with a Luxury and Premium Luxury trim level. They both seat five passengers with plenty of room for both persons and cargo.

Performance

A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission that produces 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque is standard on both trims. To deliver a more dynamic driving experience, the Premium Luxury features an active sport suspension system, which automatically modifies the suspension settings.

They both come with front-wheel drive and a maximum towing capability of 3,500 pounds. However, there is a difference in the maximum payload capacity of the two. The Premium Luxury has a higher payload capacity of 1,490 pounds, while the Luxury has a lower payload capacity of 1,300 pounds. They also have a similar fuel efficiency of 23/30 mpg in city/highway respectively.

Appearance

18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, heated mirrors, and a power liftgate are all standard on the Luxury model exterior. The Premium Luxury package includes illuminated door handles, front cornering lamps, a hands-free liftgate, 18-inch bright machined-finish alloy wheels, and LED headlamps with automatic high-beam control.

Features

The Luxury trim-level interior includes a standard 8-inch touchscreen, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker audio system. It also has a power-adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a steering wheel with leather trim. The heated front seats, power-adjustable passenger seat, eight-speaker Bose audio system, and larger 8-inch reconfigurable instrument cluster are all added in the Premium Luxury trim.

Both models come standard with a Cadillac user experience infotainment system that has an 8-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Premium Luxury trim offers a rear camera mirror that employs a camera positioned on the back of the car to show a live video feed on the rearview mirror, giving a clear view of what's behind the car. A surround vision camera on the Premium Luxury trim provides a 360-degree picture of the area around the vehicle using four cameras, making it simpler to maneuver through parking spaces and confined situations.

Leather upholstery is a basic feature of the Premium Luxury trim, whereas it is an upgrade option for the Luxury trim. For increased visibility and convenience, the Premium Luxury trim includes front cornering lamps, illuminated door handles, and standard LED headlights and taillights with both trims.
