What is the Cadillac Escalade Maintenance Schedule?

With proper care and maintenance, you can expect many years of enjoyable driving to come with your Cadillac Escalade. The ideal Cadillac Escalade maintenance schedule is located in your car's owner's manual. The owner's manual outlines all the Cadillac Escalade service intervals that your vehicle needs starting at 15,000 miles. From there, our mechanics recommend regular upkeep to ensure your Cadillac continues to operate at its best and remains safe to drive.

15,000-Mile Service

The first main service milestone that your Cadillac Escalade reaches is 15,000 miles. At 15,000 miles, your Escalade will just have a few services and a general overall inspection. The engine oil is usually replaced at the first service interval. The engine filter may be cleaned or even replaced entirely if it is excessively dirty. The Escalade's tires are evaluated for their tread wear patterns and tread depth. If they are wearing unevenly, they will be balanced or rotated for proper performance.

30,000-Mile Service

The next service milestone for your Escalade is 30,000 miles. Once again, your Escalade will have its engine oil changed at 30,000 miles. The brakes get fully inspected for safety and performance as well. That includes a check-up of the brake wires, hoses, and connections to look for fraying or other signs of damage. The brake fluid will be changed if it appears to be dirty. A mechanic will do a visual check of the car's exterior safety components, including the wipers and lights. The tires may be rotated or balanced as well.

60,000-Mile Service

When your car gets to 60,000 miles, it will repeat all the service inspection checkpoints from the previous service intervals. A few more items are added at 60,000 miles, too. When your Cadillac gets to 60,000 miles, its battery will be checked for power and longevity. The battery wires and connections will get inspected to make sure they are not worn or frayed. The engine cooling system is checked, and your car will get the transmission fluid replaced if it is dirty. The cabin air filters are replaced in addition to the engine filters.

90,000-Mile Service

More service points are added at 90,000 miles. By this time, your car is due to have the major vehicle fluids flushed and replaced. Your vehicle will need to have the engine oil drained, and new oil added. A mechanic may also switch to high-mileage oil. The transmission fluid and power steering fluids are also flushed and replaced.
