Cadillac XT6 Exterior

What is the Cadillac XT6 Service Schedule?

All vehicles require regular maintenance to keep running. While that includes the basics, such as rotating your tires and changing your oil, it also means sticking to a basic service schedule. The Cadillac XT6 is no different in this regard. Your owner's manual will tell you about your ideal Cadillac XT6 service schedule, but you can still follow this basic guideline for service intervals.

15,000-Mile Service

At 15,000 miles, your mechanic will change your oil if your vehicle is due for an oil change. They will also check your brakes and tires to make sure that they're in good condition and look over safety features such as your windshield wipers and headlights.

30,000-Mile Service

When your XT6 reaches 30,000 miles, your mechanic will likely complete another oil change if that hasn't been done recently. Your air and fuel filters will also likely need to be changed at this time, especially if you've been driving or parking in dusty conditions.

60,000-Mile Service

At 60,000 miles, you'll likely need to replace your brakes and brake fluid. The coolant and transmission fluid also usually needs to be changed at 60,000 or 70,000 miles, so your mechanic will likely do these things for you as well. Your battery may also need to be inspected at this time.

90,000-Mile Service

Your 90,000-mile service checklist will look a lot like your 60,000-mile service. You will probably need new spark plugs, a timing belt, hoses, power steering fluid, and other components at this time. At the very least, your mechanic will check these parts to make sure that they're in good shape if they don't need to be replaced.

Sticking with these Cadillac XT6 service intervals can go a long way toward keeping your vehicle running smoothly for some time, but certain driving conditions can still increase the wear and tear on your vehicle. If you travel long distances or drive over rough terrain, you might need to bring your vehicle in for a checkup more often. Whether you're sticking to this regular service schedule or you need any other repairs, don't hesitate to contact us at Van Cadillac today. We will be happy to answer your questions and keep your vehicle running smoothly.
