CADILLAC VEHICLE SERVICE WARNING INDICATORS
The instrument panel where your warning lights are displayed is one of the most important areas of your Cadillac vehicle. It's here that you will be alerted to any possible problems with your vehicle's many components (such as engine or battery). Familiarizing yourself with these indicator lights helps you know when to bring your vehicle in for service here at Van Cadillac.

Airbag Fault
The airbag system of your vehicle deploys in the event of an accident, but sometimes the system itself can malfunction and stop working. When this happens, an Airbag Fault light will be present on your panel. The dealership sometimes has to reset the airbags for you.

Low Fuel Level Warning Light
Your vehicle needs gas, just like the human body needs food. When your Cadillac is low on fuel, you'll see a low fuel level warning light. It's time for a pit stop at the gas station.

Oil Pressure Warning Light
When your vehicle runs low on oil, you might get an oil pressure warning light. This light lets you know to check your oil levels. Did you check your oil levels and find that they're adequate? It could be that a fault in the system is causing the light to come on.

Service Vehicle Soon
Your vehicle needs regular maintenance. For example, you might need an oil change every 5,000 miles (or more or less). Your service light comes on to let you know that it's time for those joyous regular maintenance visits to our dealership to keep your vehicle running in tip-top shape.

TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
Low tires cause all sorts of problems when you're driving. They can reduce traction, make it unsafe to drive in bad weather conditions, and generally cause you to feel off-balance on the road. If you see the TPMS light, check your tire pressure.

Slip Indicator
The Traction Control and Vehicle Stability Management systems of your Cadillac vehicle are among the most important systems activated. If these systems aren't working properly, you may see the Slip Indicator light. Bring your vehicle in immediately to examine the problem further.

Charging System Warning Light
The battery and wiring components of your vehicle use electrical technology to keep your vehicle powered and running smoothly. A charging system warning light is an indication of a faulty battery or some other electrical wiring component not working right. Our dealership can help with this issue.

Brake System
Brakes save lives. They're one of the most underestimated systems in your Cadillac. If you see a brake light come on, visit our dealership immediately for service.

Open Door Warning Light
Sometimes we get in a hurry and don't close all the doors in our vehicle properly. It happens. If you see the Open Door Warning Light, stop the vehicle as soon as possible to secure all doors.

Coolant Level Warning
Coolant keeps internal components from overheating. If your coolant level gets low or isn't flowing properly to your engine, you'll see this warning light. If you find your coolant isn't low, visit our dealership to reset the faulty light.
