Cadillac Performance Features
In 2024, Cadillac enhanced the performance features of several models. The CT5-V sports sedan now boasts a powerful twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. This enables the CT5-V to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 156 miles per hour. Additional performance-oriented features include front Brembo performance brakes, a performance steering wheel, paddle shifters, a performance traction management system, a drive mode selector, and launch control.
The CT5-V Blackwing variant also receives performance upgrades. It is equipped with a supercharged V8 engine that produces 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. The Blackwing offers a choice between a six-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic transmission. It features Brembo high-performance brakes on both the front and rear and an adaptive suspension system for a comfortable yet thrilling driving experience. Like the CT5-V, the Blackwing includes launch control, performance traction management, and a drive mode selector.
The CT4 sedan is another model with performance updates. As part of its upgrade package, it now features Brembo V performance brakes in the front and alloy pedals.
Cadillac Technology Features
Cadillac also introduced new technology features in 2024. The XT4 and LYRIQ models now come with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for enhanced connectivity. The LYRIQ also includes a new dual-level charging cord for improved charging times, a larger 33-inch display with a curved LED screen, standard wireless phone charging, a fixed-glass roof, and an available power-operated interior shade for cooling and darkening the cabin. The XT4 features a new head-up display with a full-color screen.
Many 2024 Cadillac models come equipped with the Cadillac Smart System of safety aids, which includes parking assist, emergency braking, and alerts.
