2018 ATS

What's New For the 2018 Cadillac ATS?

Since its inception in 2013, Cadillac's ATS has been a leader in design and elegance. For 2018, Cadillac added Satin Steel Metallic to the ATS's array of luxurious paint hues. This year, to increase the driver's comfort, the automaker also upgraded the car's heated steering wheel to an automatic model that turns on and off based upon interior air temperature. In addition, the manufacturer outfitted the 2018 ATS with a fully revamped edition of its Cadillac User Experience technology, a driver-friendly infotainment system with diverse presets.

2018 ATS Trims & Features

Cadillac offers the ATS in four trims, which are Standard, Luxury, Premium Luxury and Premium Performance. Standard drivers will own plenty of car, and they will enjoy the model's push-button starter, eight-speed transmission, performance brakes, rear-view camera and Bluetooth connectivity. Buyers who choose the Luxury setup will experience comfort via Cadillac's temperature-monitoring steering wheel, heated seats, remote starter, leather touches and parking-assistance technology. With a step up to Premium Luxury, customers will acquire aluminum sport pedals, magnesium shift paddles, a power sunroof and illuminating door handles. Auto enthusiasts who select the Premium Performance trim will own an ATS that features a head-up display, 18-inch wheels and magnetic ride control, which lets the driver choose the car's suspension rigidity for a sportier experience. Cadillac delivers the Premium Performance ATS with road-tearing rear-wheel drive. Standard, Luxury and Premium Luxury buyers can opt for rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Importantly, Cadillac sells coupe and sedan versions of the ATS in all trim styles.

2018 Cadillac ATS Horsepower

For 2018, Cadillac offers two ATS engines. Both motors hastily move the ATS. The four-cylinder model features turbines that provide 272 horsepower at 5500 revolutions per minute. Alternatively, the six-cylinder engine rips the road with 335 horsepower at the same RPM level. No matter their choice of engine, ATS drivers will love the option to manually shift this elegant and fun car's transmission.

Cadillac ATS Safety

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety awarded its Superior rating to the ATS for its front-collision prevention system. Customers can acquire that system by adding Cadillac's Driver Awareness Package. This important package includes warning signals for possible forward collisions, inadvertent lane shifts, cars in the driver's blind spots and rear-traffic dangers. Additionally, the package delivers rain-sensing wipers, lane-keeping assistance and automatic high beams. All ATSs come with OnStar's suite of services that enhance the driver's comfort, navigation and safety. ATS drivers will also appreciate the car's eight airbags, anti-lock brakes and traction-control system. Select an ATS with the available all-wheel-drive system for a classy car that can safely take you anywhere you want to go.
