What's New For the 2021 Cadillac CT4 & CT4-V?

In 2021, the Cadillac CT4 and CT4-V have some updates to their features and available options. The Cadillac CT4/CT4-V gets a few minor changes from its introduction in 2020. This year, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also standard, but they are now offered in a wireless version. There are more safety features on the Cadillac this year, including now-standard automatic emergency braking and forward-collision warning. For the first time, you can get a customizable digital instrument display with a 12-inch screen. Cadillac's own Super Cruise, which is a semi-automated driving system, is now included as well.

2021 CT4 & CT4-V Trims and Features

In total, there are four trims for the CT4 in 2021. The lineup includes three trims for the standard CT4 and the CT4-V. The first trim of the CT4, called Luxury, includes a list of impressive amenities such as an eight-inch infotainment system with smartphone pairing and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and an eight-speaker audio system. On the outside, the Luxury has LED lighting all around, including LED headlights and tail lights. Power-operated front seats are standard. The base trim also has a keyless entry, keyless ignition, and remote start. Automatic climate control is also standard.

The second CT4 trim is the Premium Luxury. You have a choice of engines with this trim and more standard features, including additional safety aids, auto-dimming mirrors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. This trim has 18-inch wheels as well. The Sport trim is the third trim level for the 2021 CT4. Its features also include Brembo performance brakes and a sporty steering wheel. The exterior gets trim-specific accents, including a spoiler in the rear and body-colored exterior trim accents. The CT4-V combines the sporty elements of the Sport trim and the interior of the Premium Luxury. It also has improved traction with a performance traction assist system and stability control. It also has a magnetic ride control that allows you to adjust your ride comfort level. A premium audio system is available, along with more driver-assist safety aids.

2021 Cadillac CT4 & CT4-V Horsepower

Three gasoline engines are available for the CT4. The first engine is a 2.0L four-cylinder. This engine produces 237 HP and nearly 260 LB-FT of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. A 10-speed transmission is offered on the next engine that powers the Premium Luxury. This trim is available with an upgraded engine that delivers over 300 HP and 350 LB-FT of torque. The third engine is standard on the CT4-V. The CT4-V gets an inline-four cylinder engine that generates 325 HP and 380 LB-FT in torque. Rear-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain, but all-wheel drive is optional.

Cadillac CT4 & CT4-V Safety

The Cadillac CT4 comes standard with forward-collision avoidance and automatic emergency braking. A safety package is available with more driver-assist safety aids that include lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring.
