The Cadillac Formula 1 Team has earned final approval to take its place on the 2026 Formula 1 grid. With TWG Motorsports and General Motors behind them, they'll join the ten established teams on the track.

 
TWG Motorsports and General Motors have recently unveiled the formation of GM Performance Power Units LLC, a new company set to guide Cadillac into the world of Formula 1 vehicle and power unit development by the close of this decade. The newly formed company will be led by industry veteran Russ O'Blenes, who has been named CEO.

 
General Motors and Cadillac have joined forces for an exciting journey in the world of motorsports. GM has proudly announced the formation of the Cadillac Formula 1 racing team and a brand-new F1 power unit. According to GM and TWG Global, they've reached an agreement to launch the Cadillac Formula 1 team by 2026.
